Kunj celebrates the remarkable artistic journey of master printmaker Prof. Subroto Mandal—honouring decades of dedication, experimentation, and his deep commitment to the evolving language of printmaking. Moving between figuration and abstraction, his works unfold as layered reflections on memory, vulnerability, satire, and ecological fragility, creating a contemplative visual sanctuary.
Organised by Prarambh Art Studio, this exhibition is not only a tribute to a master artist but also an initiative to encourage and support young artists, fostering dialogue, mentorship, and stronger engagement with printmaking practice in Jaipur.

National Printmaking Exhibition -2024
"PRARAMBH" a symphony of prespectives in indian contemporary printmaking
Prarambh Art Studio has taken the first step towards boosting printmaking by organizing workshops for students in Jaipur, and has invited printmaker from 15 different states across the country to support our vision as a shape of exhibition. we are overwhelmed by the response coming from artists across the country.
This "Prarambh" exhibition is being held at the Surekha Gallery, Jawahar Kala Kendra, from April 1st to 3rd, 2024, Organized by- Vijay Singh Beniwal and Curated by - Jayshree Singh Deo showcasing the works of 46 invited Indian printmaker and 14 participants from workshops.
I would like to congratulate and thank all the printmaker and participants who have helped strengthen our initiative, engaging with nearly 60 printmaker We will continue our efforts in the future to make our vision comes true.
